An ideal class for understanding the basics of Yoga or for anyone getting back to Yoga after a break. Each class goes through selected Yoga postures with 3 postures covered in detail, along with learning invaluable Yoga breathing techniques. The class finishes with relaxation practice which has deeply restorative benefits. Over 12 weeks, learn 36 basic Yoga postures. And start your Yoga journey!

Level 1 Gentle Yoga

Good for those who want to use Yoga steadily and mindfully because it suits your life stage or health needs or is how you like to practice; gently and with ease.

  • Uses yoga to improve movement, balance and posture

  • Practice relaxation and/or pranayama to support health and mind

  • Reduce general aches and stiffness

  • Great follow-on class for Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs

  • £10 pay as you go or £48 for a block of 6 classes

Create a good space for your body and mind through Yoga practice. This class uses postures, breathing, relaxation and meditative techniques to improve movement, balance and strength and manage stress and tension.

Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs

Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs helps you to manage and improve back issues, allowing you to move away from back pain, using Yoga postures, awareness and relaxation.

Amersham - starting Tuesday 22 January 2019 at 6.30-7.45pm

This 12 week program brings proven long term benefits for people with back pain, using gentle, progressive and effective Yoga to help you get back to being active again. 

  • First aid Yoga postures to relieve back pain

  • Assessed by NICE in Guidance for a first stage treatment for low back pain and sciatica

  • Progressive Yoga practice with long term benefits

  • Small group focus

  • Practice Handouts and Relaxation CD provided in Resource Pack
